課程概述 |
The contents are as follows.
1. Galois descent and fppf descent.
2. Algebraic groups
3. Galois cohomology, etale cohomology and fppf cohomology.
4. Weil conjectures.
5. Cohomological obstructions to rational points. |

課程目標 |
After this course, we expect that students have the ability to read recent papers on related topics and have basic tools to start their research tour. |

課程要求 |
We assume the students already know algebraic geometry.
We will mainly follow the book “rational points on varieties”wriiten by B. Poonen.
(We start from Chapter 4.) |
